Curriculum

The curriculum committee is responsible for making available and organizing coursework for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in Medical Imaging.

We have created a list of available courses in Imaging that will include Imaging Instrumentation, Processing, and Acquisition along with related fundamental courses. The Curriculum Committee will continue to update these courses and petition faculty for new ones.

An important part of medical imaging is the application of imaging technologies to the human body. We will also facilitate graduate students to attend Medical Intern courses. This initiative will help facilitate more translational research for graduate students in medical imaging. Members of the Imaging Initiative were offered the opportunity to audit case studies and clinical lectures in our Clinical Series 2011, which was organized by the Lecture Committee.

The Hopkins Imaging Initiative also has a database of supplementary Tutorials, which are quick videos that review basic aspects of imaging.
