The University of California-Irvine is looking for an Associate Development Engineer/Physicist
The main responsibility of this engineer/physicist is to maintain the continuous operations of existing MRI systems at the Research Imaging Center of UC Irvine, and support University Investigators on MRI-based research projects by providing technical assistance in both MR hardware and software.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with specific emphasis on medical imaging systems.
Experience with basic maintenance tasks on MRI Systems.
Research experience using MRI.
Proficient in documentation skills.
Strong background skills in analog and digital electronics.
Basic knowledge of RF electronic design.
Salary Range: $49,536.00 - $69,765.00 Annually, depending on experience.
